Hello Friends and all the “Photo-Artists.
Before starting the topic about “Making Macro – Video insect Beetle Hycleus using Nikon Coolpix B500″, let me ask all of you a question:
Have you ever face difficulty of not getting enough zoom, while making a Video of a distant object or clicking Photos of far-away birds or trees, specially in Macro-Photography?
We all have always struggled with taking photos and making videos of Macro things.
We all also have faced challenges to make a Macro Videography and in choosing the best Camera.
Let me give you a situation.
Suppose you are standing on your roof terrace and you saw a nearby tree with beautiful flowers. Suddenly, you also get to see a Beetle specifically called “Hycleus” is having food nectar around the Flower. You wish to make its Macro Video, by you are unable to get the right zoom. What will you do? Your DSLR has failed.
The beetle was almost 15-20 meters always near the ground at a downward inclined position.
Answer to my above dilemma is:
Nikon Coolpix B500
Though I had DSLR Canon 1300D and the lens 55-250 mm, by the lens zoom was not sufficient. Suddenly then, I thought of trying Nikon Coolpix B500 as it has Optical zoom 40X and Digital zoom of 80X. Though it is a Bridge Camera, but it is far better than the DSLR in prospect of maximum zoom.
